News / Welcome Design Workshop 2024

This wonderful initiative was an experience that brought the energy and creativity of young aspiring designers into our workshop. We were chosen by IUAV as promoters of a unique design, production, and sustainable language.

Students and designers were tasked with developing new furniture solutions with a focus on natural and sustainable materials. The goal? To create products to be manufactured using CNC for our new brand, Bravate Artigiane, which aims to bring artisan design into homes, available for purchase online.
Through the use of wood, other recycled materials, and intuitive assembly techniques, the workshop brought to life projects that combine design, sustainability, functionality, and practicality.

We were pleasantly surprised by the students’ ability to fully grasp the focus of the workshop. Each project adhered to our vision, both aesthetically and in terms of simple and intuitive assembly. Not only were the ideas strong, but many of the products were practically feasible, so much so that we decided to develop the full-scale prototypes directly in our carpentry workshop, transforming the concepts into tangible pieces ready to be tested. It was an experience that confirmed how the dialogue between design and craftsmanship can lead to innovative and sustainable solutions.

The project also benefited from an external tutor, Designer Salvatore Indriolo, appointed by IUAV, who skillfully guided the students and, above all, steered them toward a design/production sensibility of high quality. The collaboration between our company, Designer Indriolo, and the university elevated the final result, fully meeting our expectations.
