The initiative, promoted by Confartigianato Imprese Marca Trevigiana, aimed to train a new generation of entrepreneurs in the wood-furniture sector, a field that today includes 1,535 artisan companies and 4,251 employees just in the Treviso province, the most active in Veneto.

The key word for the future is Contamination.

Falegnami contemporanei seeks to create a collaborative and immersive environment where the skills of artisans, architects, and designers merge to create products designed with a circular approach, considering their reuse, regeneration, and the origins of the materials used.

This journey began in February and concluded on November 29 at the Lepido Rocco school in Lancenigo, where a new concept of “custom-made” was launched. An idea that highlights the value of high-quality craftsmanship, able to combine local roots with an international vision, becoming an ambassador of Made in Italy worldwide.

«Globalization is based on economies of scale and standardized products,” said Bruno Mazzariol, president of the wood-furniture group of Confartigianato Imprese Marca Trevigiana. “But artisans have a clear path: focusing on customization, design, beauty, and bespoke solutions».

This approach is particularly close to our hearts, as it fully reflects our philosophy, which we have consistently and proudly pursued for over 20 years. Here at Casapercasa, the dialogue between artisans and designers is not an exception but the beating heart of our work. Our widespread workshop is where these figures meet daily, experiment, and bring to life bespoke solutions that combine aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.

We firmly believe that the meeting between design and craftsmanship is the key to a future where custom-made becomes the true alternative to standardization.

The project by Confartigianato Imprese Marca Trevigiana brought together the efforts of the IUAV University of Venice, the Treviso Architecture Foundation, and internationally renowned designers, with the patronage of the Order of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects, and Conservators of the Treviso Province, supported by Ebav and the Treviso – Belluno Dolomiti Chamber of Commerce, and hosted by the professional training school Lepido Rocco.
